On August 12, we had a terrible flood come through. We had water inside every room of our house and in every direction outside as far as the eye could see. In the three days we did not have power, Hermie developed some sort of illness that carried through until the following week when he passed away. :-( I was so sad. I checked on the tank twice a day but there was nothing I could do to keep the temperature proper or the humidity down.
I buried him in a flower pot outside. Rest in peace, sweet Hermie.
Tiny has been buried since the flooding and comes up to eat and drink but goes back under the sand. I am hoping that she stays strong and is able to pull through. I don't think she was affected by the illness. *claws crossed*
